American Literature

 A writing that has a(n) artistic value,that's literature, for the american part, don't really have much sayings for it, I'll leave it up to you. Contributing to it, I do not know how that works, but I mean if I were to look for a book or a poetry or a novel or just some writing that speaks like art, maybe that's contributing?
